The more kids you have, the more complicated laundry time gets. In order to make it far easier to sort everybody’s clothes, write your kids’ names on their clothes to avoid confusion and, potentially, some loud arguments.
Errands are an important part of teaching children responsibility. Still, keeping track of which kids are responsible for which tasks can be challenging. Make life easier for yourself and them by drawing up a schedule with each child’s name and listing their responsibilities as well as times when they need to perform them.

]]>The post “Sleepunder” is a Perfect Alternative for Parents Cautious About Sleepovers appeared first on parentztalk.com.
]]>Some parents have mixed feelings about letting their kids spend the night outside the house while also being cautious about the responsibility of taking care of someone else’s child. Also, not all kids feel comfortable spending the night somewhere else. That is why an alternative, known as “sleepunder”, is becoming increasingly popular.
Sleepunder sees parents hosting sleepover parties that include dressing up in pajamas, eating snacks and sweets, watching movies, and staying up late. However, when it’s time to sleep, the parents of the visiting children come and pick up their kids to take them home. Additionally, they might bring them back early in the morning so they can enjoy the breakfast part of the sleepover experience.
An increasing number of parents are viewing sleepunder to be the best of both worlds. It provides kids with all the key moments of sleepovers while also giving parents peace of mind. Additionally, it can serve as a “trial” for both kids and parents to get more comfortable with real sleepovers.
So, if you are uneasy about sleepovers, give sleepunders a thought. It might not be the “real deal”, but it is definitely close enough.

]]>TikToker @aims.lc recently shared a viral clip on social media in which she explains why she cooks dinner for her kids at 3 p.m.
According to @aims.lc, her kids woke from their nap around this time and were already hungry.
“They always wake up from their nap ravenous, so why not feed them the most amount of nutrients now, and then snack later?” she shares.
The video shows @aims.lc cooking various meals for her kids and feeding them before finally getting around to cooking something for the adults in the house. Since the kids have already eaten and are occupied with desserts, she and her husband can enjoy a peaceful meal.
“It frees up the rest of the night. Play games. I can do a workout. So, there’s no pressure. If they’re hungry later, we do bedtime toast,” @aims.lc adds.
The video, which has got 1.2 million views since being posted in February, got a lot of positive reactions from other TikTokers. One mom even tested out the same method and called it a “game changer”.
“I started feeding my kids dinner at 3/4 pm when they’re hungry after seeing you doing it. I don’t know why I didn’t do it earlier!! Game changer,” @jamieamber_ shared in the comments section.

]]>White noise successfully blocks the outside noises that might upset the baby while providing soothing sounds. They are able to fall asleep faster, sleep longer, and avoid mood swings.
The effects of white noise on babies have been part of multiple studies in the past decades. One study from 1990 saw 80% of 20 babies between two and seven days old falling asleep within five minutes after hearing white noise. Additionally, a randomized controlled trial from 2017 discovered that white noise “significantly decreased the daily crying durations and increased the sleeping durations of the colicky babies.”
If you are thinking about trying the white noise technique to help your baby fall asleep, there are some things you should know. First of all, the appropriate sound level for babies is up to 50 decibels, so make sure to avoid white noise machines that don’t offer such settings. Also, keep in mind that some babies don’t like white noise, and it won’t have the desired effect on them.

]]>Buying tickets at the entrance is always a bad idea. You risk paying a premium on crowded days while missing out on discounts. Instead, make sure to book them well ahead of your trip and pick out days that offer cheaper admission.
Booking an off-site hotel can save you a lot of money and doesn’t require a lot of compromise. These hotels are usually in near proximity to Disney World and usually offer free shuttle buses to the theme parks.
Treating your family with a meal at one of Disney World’s many restaurants is part of the experience. However, this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t bring plenty of snacks and drinks with you. The kids will easily get hungry and dehydrated from all the rides, and you can save a lot of money by having snacks and drinks on you rather than buying them at the site.
Buying a lot of souvenirs is one of the quickest ways to blow through your budget. If you really want to have some, opt for inexpensive and small items or ones you can’t find elsewhere. You’ll be able to find Disney-themed T-shirts and plush toys elsewhere for a fraction of the price you’d pay at the official souvenir ship. A good way to go about it is to buy them before your visit and then present them to your kids once you’re there.

]]>Looking to help parents if they ever find themselves in such a situation, TikToker Jess Martini shared a super helpful tip in a video posted on her profile. The hack can help you locate your kid a lot faster compared to other methods of search.
According to Martini, the most important thing is to be loud in your search. Instead of looking for your kid “silently”, you should notify everyone in your surroundings. The best way to do it, according to her, is to yell out basic info about your kid while looking for them. This includes basic description, the clothes they are wearing, and their name.
“Shout out loud and clear. Say they’re missing, give a description, and repeat, repeat, repeat!” she explains.
By doing so, everyone around will join in the search and, in the best-case scenario, find your kind and bring them to you. In the worst-case scenario, if someone tried to take away your child, the chances are that they will let him go due to all the attention.
“PSA that I feel can save kids and I’ve used- if your child goes missing in public,” Martini says in the caption of the video.

]]>TikTok user Jillian Rundell recently shared a video on her profile documenting her project of making a DIY doll of music superstar Taylor Swift.
Rundell bought an inexpensive Ariel ILY Disney doll from Target and proceeded to give it a “Taylor Swift” makeover. She painted the doll’s lips in bright red to match Swift’s signature red lipstick, gave it a multi-color nail polish treatment, fitted it with some friendship bracelets, and styled its hair to match the singer’s hairdo.
The TikToker also bought a miniature acoustic guitar from Dollar Tree and painted it pink to match the guitar Swift has been using on stage during her Eras Tour.
Other TikTok users have praised Rundell in the comments section, with more than a few deciding to use the video as an inspiration for a similar project.
“Oh, my goodness. My biggest Swiftie has been trying to figure out what to get the mini Swiftie for Christmas. I think this is it,” @m.dlt7 wrote.
“Thank gosh this came up on my fyp. My daughter asked for a TS doll from Santa and I wasn’t sure what I was gonna do,” @catwagner13 added.

]]>Clean the child’s’s car seat as soon as something happens or you notice it is dirty. The longer you wait, the harder it will be to remove the stains, and it will take longer for the smell to disappear.
It is important that you remove any larger particles of food (or anything else) from the car seat by hand before you begin scrubbing. If you immediately start to scrub, you will just make a bigger mess.
Vacuum can be your best friend. It will get all the hard-to-reach particles and make the cleaning process a lot easier.
After you remove all the larger particles, get a bowl of warm water and mix in some gentle soap. Next, using a piece of cloth, give the car seat a thorough wipe. Then, get some clean water and repeat the process again to remove the soap.
The harness is what keeps your child safe in their car seat. You should be very careful when cleaning it in order not to cause any damage. Simply wipe it down with a wet cloth and leave it in fresh air to dry.

Lots of kids enjoy snack bars with peanuts or chocolate in them. You can now buy snack bars made from vegetables such as sweetcorn, beetroot, and red peppers that count as one of your kids’ five-a-day but are not noticeably made from vegetables.
If your children are fans of smoothies, why not boost their health by adding kale or spinach to them? If you experiment with the ratios, your kids won’t even notice the difference, but the nutritional benefit will be considerable.
