Claire Danes and her husband Hugh Dancy have a lot of experience parenting young children, and they’re ready to do it again! The power couple announced they’re expecting baby no. 3 back in January, and they’ve just confirmed that Danes gave birth to a baby girl.
Danes and Dancy are already parents to two sons—Cyrus, 10, and Rowan, 4. The Emmy-winning actress jokingly told Jimmy Fallon that Rowan was “less than thrilled” to learn he’ll soon have another sibling, but he made peace with it after realizing that the baby will need a mentor once it’s born.
Danes gave birth to her third child at 44, and she previously told Elle that she has no regrets about waiting to have kids when she did because acting was her main focus for a very long time.
“When I was thinking about [working and being a mother] originally, I was really nervous about it. I think I would make a lousy stay-at-home mom. It just wouldn’t suit me. I feel so fortunate in that I’ve had this arrow-straight focus that I wanted to act,” she explained.
Danes and Dancy met on the set of the film Evening in 2006 and got married three years later in a private ceremony in France.
