Emily Blunt Said Taylor Swift Boosted Her Daughter’s Confidence

Taylor Swift is a role model for many young girls, and Emily Blunt’s daughter happens to be one of them. Oppenheimer star recalled a recent meeting with the Grammy-winning singer and revealed that Swift helped boost her daughter’s confidence.

Blunt has been married to the actor John Krasinski since 2010, and they went on to star together in A Quite Place, inspired by Krasinski’s fears associated with modern parenthood. They are proud parents of two daughters, Hazel and Violet, born in 2014 and 2016.

Having celebrity parents has its perks, and one of them was meeting Taylor Swift. Blunt opened up about their recent run-in during an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show and said she felt like Hazel was going to faint after Swift complimented her hair.

“My oldest kid had just cut all of her hair off, this very short haircut that she was very self-conscious about. And Taylor Swift goes, ‘God, look at you. Just like this 60s Beatnik cool kid. I just, I love your style.’ It was the best thing anyone’s done for my child,” said Blunt.

Taylor Swift wasn’t Blunt’s only A-list friend that her kids were impressed with. They also had a lot of questions about Ryan Gosling, who currently stars alongside Blunt in the action comedy The Fall Guy.
