Ryan Reynolds Shares Sweet Inspiration Behind His New Show “Bedtime Stories”

Ryan Reynolds recently announced his new series Bedtime Stories, and the backstory behind it is as heartwarming as it gets. The Deadpool actor gave a subtle shout-out to his fourth baby with Blake Lively, hinting that becoming a parent again inspired him to make this show.

Reynolds developed this series for Maximum Effort Channel on Fubo TV and described it as a restful show from an anxious mind. The series is expected to feature legendary stories that we all know and love, but Reynolds’s voice and personality will amplify each one, turning them into classics for a new generation.

“We’re so happy to create a program with the express goal of putting people to sleep. This show has actually been a dream of mine for a while. Storytime is a nighttime staple in our home and is a daily reminder of the power of storytelling,” said Reynolds in a statement about his new series.

He also added that the idea for Bedtime Stories was born the same day as his fourth child, thus confirming he welcomed another baby with Blake Lively. Even though they never officially announced the birth of their fourth child, their fans assumed they became parents again after Lively posted a photo without a baby bump on Super Bowl Sunday back in February.
