Pregnancy is one of those things that is so beautiful for so many reasons, and yet it’s also incredibly hard for many reasons too. But it’s one thing to know it’s hard, and another thing to actually experience it. When you actually go through it, you may start to wonder why people didn’t warn you. Well, now it’s time to give you a couple of disclaimers about pregnancy that’ll wash away any preconceived notions that it’ll be all sunshine and rainbows.
24/7 Virus
It’s been reported by certain women who have gone through pregnancy that it feels like they’re experiencing a 24/7 virus. From the constant throwing up to the nausea, to the restlessness, it seems as though the sickly feelings are nonstop and aren’t going to end. However, doctors actually say that feeling sick during pregnancy is a good sign that the baby is growing well.
Doctor Scares
Another thing that they don’t tell you about pregnancy is that it can get pretty easy to fall victim to doctor scares. With all of your mommy hormones at their apex, a simple statement from an OBGYN stating that your baby may have a 1% chance of something unfortunate can sometimes be enough to make you anxious, and understandably so. But as long as you know the doctor is just saying those things to protect themselves, don’t let yourself get too worried over the doctor’s boilerplate statements.
