Academy Award-winning actress Kim Basinger has put her Hollywood career on the back burner in recent years to focus on her family and more recently, to immerse herself in a new role as a grandmother. Judging by a recent video shared by Basinger’s daughter, Ireland Baldwin, she loves every moment of it.
Baldwin posted a video on her Instagram showing Basinger entertaining her granddaughter Holland with a huge Elmo toy. Basinger even imitated the voice of the character from the famous children’s TV show Sesame Street while Holland’s dad, musician RAC, helped the little girl to remain standing.
“@kim.basinger’s latest role as lady elmo, “Baldwin wrote in the caption of the video that received 5K likes several hours after being posted.
Social media users enjoyed the video quite a lot, saying that Basinger is the “coolest grandma” and that she is doing great in her new role.
“Gramma Kimmi loving every minute of it,” one user commented.
“Her favorite role I am sure,” another added.
Baldwin and RAC announced they are expecting their first child together in December 2022. The couple welcomed Holland back in May 2023 and has since been sharing adorable photos and videos of their new life as parents.
