When a new baby joins the family, parents never know what to expect from their older children. Some are thrilled to have a brother or a sister, while others are annoyed by the newcomer.
When TikToker Celeste Anderson welcomed her daughter Serenity earlier this year, she wondered how her two teenage boys: 17-year-old J.J. and 15-year-old Tylen would react to having a baby sister. She was pleasantly surprised to learn that both J.J. and Tylen couldn’t be happier about it.
Proud of her sons, Anderson recently shared a video on social media that shows two boys coming home from school and immediately rushing to greet Serenity. The two take turns showering the baby with kisses and are not even discouraged by the fact that the baby is sleeping.
The clip quickly went viral, being viewed more than 12 million times since it was posted in early November. It also got tens of thousands of comments, with other TikTok users praising the brothers for the way they act with their sister.
Anderson responded to some of the comments and revealed that this is something that happens on a daily basis.
“This is literally everyday, which annoys me, and I complain about it everyday lol,” she jokingly wrote.
