Ingredients (to make 12 cookies):
- 1 cup of plain flour
- 1/2 cup of ground almonds
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1 cup of unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 3 tablespoons of dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and maple syrup.
- Sift in the flour, ground almonds, and baking powder, stir well to combine.
- Add in the eggs and milk, and whisk well to combine.
- Add in the chocolate chips, and stir well.
- Roll out onto greaseproof paper and cut into cookie shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Place on a lined baking tray, bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 390 degrees F.
