]]>Written by Legend and produced by Sufjan Stevens, My Favorite Dream marks Legend’s first entry into children’s music. The cover features a childhood photo of the singer, while the tracklist includes a combination of covers and original songs, that Legend wrote with a goal to create new lullabies that could become classics.
“I sat at a piano and started making a list of topics and subjects I wanted to talk about, all things I talk to my kids about and messages to inspire them, comfort them, and encourage them to go to sleep. So those were the thought-starters for the songs, and I’d sit and write,” he told Vogue.
Legend has been married to Chrissy Teigen for over a decade, and they have four children together – Luna, 8, Miles, 6, Esti, 20 months, and Wren, 15 months. His latest album has been a family affair, and he even convinced Teigen, Luna, and Miles to join him on the lead single “L-O-V-E”.

]]>During a recent appearance at the Digital Parenthood Summit in New York City, New York, Teigen shared her thoughts and practices when it comes to social media and technology use for her children. Teigen shares four kids with singer John Legend: eight-year-old Luna, six-year-old Miles, 16-month-old Esi, and 11-month-old Wren.
According to Teigen, it would be an “absolute dream” for her if she were able to keep her kids off social media, at least until they finish high school.
“Unless there are more rules and regulations in place, I would prefer for them not to be on social. I want them to be safe and happy and flourishing as kids,” said Teigen.
Additionally, Chrissy’s Court start is keeping the screen time for her kids limited to a minimum, worried about all the inappropriate content on the internet that they might be exposed to.
“There’s a tight timeframe. Maybe an hour on the weekends,” Teigen added when talking about how often her kids use iPads.

Luna Simone and Miles Theodore joined their parents and helped bake batches of mocha pancakes based on Teigen’s recipe.
Legend later uploaded a photo of the family on Instagram and wrote about how “honored” he is to be able to support the organization.
Legend later had a chat with PEOPLE magazine and went into detail about his decision to include his kids in his volunteering projects.
“We try to teach them that it’s important to give back and to help other people,” said Legend. “They’ve gone with us to help feed people who are hungry, they’ve gone to homeless shelters with us. We try to teach them to be appreciative of what they have and also know that there are a lot of people that don’t have the privileges that they do, so we should do what we can to help them.”
