Chrissy Teigen Hopes to Keep Her Kids Off Social Media Until “After High School”

Model and television personality Chrissy Teigen enjoys sharing snippets from her life with fans on social media. But despite being an avid social media user, Teigen is hoping her kids will join in later than sooner.

During a recent appearance at the Digital Parenthood Summit in New York City, New York, Teigen shared her thoughts and practices when it comes to social media and technology use for her children. Teigen shares four kids with singer John Legend: eight-year-old Luna, six-year-old Miles, 16-month-old Esi, and 11-month-old Wren.

According to Teigen, it would be an “absolute dream” for her if she were able to keep her kids off social media, at least until they finish high school.

“Unless there are more rules and regulations in place, I would prefer for them not to be on social. I want them to be safe and happy and flourishing as kids,” said Teigen.

Additionally, Chrissy’s Court start is keeping the screen time for her kids limited to a minimum, worried about all the inappropriate content on the internet that they might be exposed to.

“There’s a tight timeframe. Maybe an hour on the weekends,” Teigen added when talking about how often her kids use iPads.
