]]>Some might think it would be easier to be a parent if you’re a celebrity. As we mentioned earlier, celebrities are generally loaded up the wazoo, and can thus afford all the help money can buy. Night nurses and extra babysitters are available resources 24/7, making for a luxurious parenting experience that few people enjoy.
But this leads to another question, which is: is taking care of your child about more than just babysitting them or providing them with luxury resources and opportunities? And the answer to this question is a resounding yes.
Sure, when you’re a celeb, your kid will have access to better schools. Sure, you won’t have to wake up five times a night to take care of them when they’re babies. But parenting is also about raising them to be good people—and that’s something that money can’t buy.
In fact, it may even be harder as a celebrity to teach their kids quality life lessons, simply because celebs aren’t at home as much while they’re out shooting films or performing on world tours. They said the greatest ability is availability, and in this regard stars actually are at a disadvantage compared to average Joes.

]]>Björnsson made the announcement by posting several adorable family photos on Instagram. In the first photo, the couple and their three-year-old son Stormur are posing together, with Stormur holding a sonogram. In the second photo, Storum can be seen kissing his mother’s pregnancy bump.
“Life is precious, and I couldn’t be happier to announce that our family is growing bigger. Kelsey is 19 weeks pregnant with a healthy child who we cannot wait to meet!” Björnsson wrote in the caption while adding that the family doesn’t want to know the gender of the baby until it arrives in the world.
Henson also shared a couple of photos on her own Instagram profile, writing in the caption that the family is “happy to share that Stormur will be a big brother in March.”
Björnsson and Henson, a Canadian fitness model, started dating in 2017 and got married in August of the following year at a ceremony in Björnsson’s home country of Iceland. The couple welcomed Storum on 26 September 2020.
Björnsson also shares a daughter, Theresa Líf, with his former girlfriend Thelma Björk Steimann.

]]>During a recent chat with PEOPLE magazine, Alba was asked whether Honor and Haven ever go through her closet and steal clothes. The actress revealed that she doesn’t have that issue since she and her daughters “have different styles.”
“They always say I dress like a mom, which is really insulting,” Alba explained. “I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, I could literally kill you.’ And they’re like, ‘But you are a mom.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, but you don’t have to say it like that. So rude.’”
It turns out that Alba doesn’t mind the teasing. She added that her daughter might think poorly about her style now but that they will learn to appreciate it once they grow older. Until then, it appears her closet will remain safe.
Alba shares Honor Marie and Haven Garner with husband and film producer Cash Warren. The couple, who have been married since 2008, also have a son, five-year-old Hayes, together.

]]>Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Cruel Intentions star Sarah Michelle Gellar, who’s also married to former co-star Freddie Prinze Jr., recently shared parenting advice about teaching children about wastefulness and accountability. Essentially, if her kids neglect to finish their meal, she actually makes them pay money!
“My daughter was doing this thing lately where she was asking me for a cup of milk and not drinking it,” said Gellar. “So I told her that every time she’d ask me for a cup of milk and not drink it, I would take a quarter out of her piggy bank. Someone has to pay for that milk.”
What we love about this is that Gellar is a wealthy celebrity, so she could’ve easily taken a different route and allowed her child to grow up without learning the value of money. But Gellar wants her children to be held accountable for their actions, and this will give them some dose of reality even though they’re being raised somewhat financially privileged.
