Jessica Alba’s fashion choices aren’t getting much love from her kids. According to L.A.’s Finest star, her daughters – 15-year-old Honor Marie and 12-year-old Haven Garner – like to tease her for dressing “like a mom.”
During a recent chat with PEOPLE magazine, Alba was asked whether Honor and Haven ever go through her closet and steal clothes. The actress revealed that she doesn’t have that issue since she and her daughters “have different styles.”
“They always say I dress like a mom, which is really insulting,” Alba explained. “I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, I could literally kill you.’ And they’re like, ‘But you are a mom.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, but you don’t have to say it like that. So rude.’”
It turns out that Alba doesn’t mind the teasing. She added that her daughter might think poorly about her style now but that they will learn to appreciate it once they grow older. Until then, it appears her closet will remain safe.
Alba shares Honor Marie and Haven Garner with husband and film producer Cash Warren. The couple, who have been married since 2008, also have a son, five-year-old Hayes, together.
