Actor and strongman Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, known for his role as Gregor Clegane aka “The Mountain” in HBO’s hit fantasy show Game of Thrones, and his wife Kelsey Henson will welcome their second child together. The couple shared the happy news on social media.
Björnsson made the announcement by posting several adorable family photos on Instagram. In the first photo, the couple and their three-year-old son Stormur are posing together, with Stormur holding a sonogram. In the second photo, Storum can be seen kissing his mother’s pregnancy bump.
“Life is precious, and I couldn’t be happier to announce that our family is growing bigger. Kelsey is 19 weeks pregnant with a healthy child who we cannot wait to meet!” Björnsson wrote in the caption while adding that the family doesn’t want to know the gender of the baby until it arrives in the world.
Henson also shared a couple of photos on her own Instagram profile, writing in the caption that the family is “happy to share that Stormur will be a big brother in March.”
Björnsson and Henson, a Canadian fitness model, started dating in 2017 and got married in August of the following year at a ceremony in Björnsson’s home country of Iceland. The couple welcomed Storum on 26 September 2020.
Björnsson also shares a daughter, Theresa Líf, with his former girlfriend Thelma Björk Steimann.
