]]>After a pregnant audience member asked her for help choosing a name for her future daughter during a recent concert, Adele said she really wanted to be a mom again soon. The Grammy-winning artist is currently dating sports agent Rich Paul, and she told the audience she’s writing down the list of name ideas, mentioning Parker and Ray as two of the names Paul and her like.
Adele has one kid – the 10-year-old son Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki. She’s currently busy with her Las Vegas residency Weekends with Adele, which runs until November, but she would gladly take a break from touring if her relationship with Angelo suffered because of her time on the road.
“If my relationship … with Angelo started to flounder a bit now, I would pull out of my tour. My life is more important to me than anything I’m doing because how am I supposed to write a record if I don’t have a life? If I don’t have a real life, then it’s game over anyway,” she told Vanity Fair.

]]>According to People, searches for the name “Barbie” have gone up 603% since April, when the trailer for Greta Gerwig’s hit film was initially released. The name “Ken” has also experienced a significant surge, with a 293% increase in page views.
Nameberry’s Editor-in-Chief Sophie told 9Honey Parenting that something like this could happen ahead of the film’s release, but she’s expecting these names will only experience a modest rise.
“Pop culture often introduces parents to new names they’ve never encountered or allows them to see a name in a new light. Often, it influences parents subconsciously... For pop culture to boost a name, the influence and the name have to be right,” explained Kihm.
She also told People that piquing parents’ interest won’t necessarily translate into actual usage. Kihm is expecting these names to experience a slight bump due to the movie, but neither will be among the most popular baby names of 2023, with Barbie only ranking at 1,896 on the list of 2,000 most popular baby names heading into 2023.

Slagen, a mom of two, was always fascinated by the name. Since she was young, she would research names and record her favorites in a journal. This hobby proved to be useful when she decided to help some local moms come up with names for their babies while on maternity leave.
Noticing that there are many more parents in need of assistance with baby names, Slagen started offering her services to others and made a TikTok channel Naming Bebe on which she details how she comes up with names for her clients. Parents usually give her the basic info and their preferences, and then she takes it from there.
There is a huge demand for her baby-naming service, causing her to work up to 20 hours a week. She shared in a recent chat with Insider that she already helped parents of 100 babies, and there is a six-week waiting period for new clients.
