Surprise Your Kids With This Quick and Easy Salmon Curry

If you’re looking for a quick, easy, and tasty meal that will thrill your kids, then you can’t go wrong with a delectable salmon curry. Here’s your guide to making this saucy dish in as little as 20 minutes.


  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 diced pepper
  • 440ml coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoons turmeric
  • 1 piece of grated ginger
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 10 grams coriander
  • 300 grams of basmati rice


  1. Pour a teaspoon of vegetable oil into a pan. Add the salmon and fry it with the skin side up for 4 minutes. Flip and cook for a further 2 minutes.
  2. Cook the rice as per the packet’s instructions.
  3. Fry the onion in the remaining vegetable oil for 3 to 4 minutes and add the garlic and ginger. Top up with turmeric and some water.
  4. Add the diced pepper and cook for another minute. Then, add coconut milk and simmer for 7 to 8 minutes.
  5. Toss the spinach into the mix and cook for 2 minutes. Return the salmon to the pan and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Serve with rice topped with coriander.
