Princess Eugenie, the niece of King Charles III, and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, recently welcomed their second child, a little boy named Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank. Princess Eugenie recently decided to share a few photos of Ernest on social media while also explaining his unique name.
“He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George, and my Grandpa Ronald,” wrote Princess Eugenie in the caption.
The first photo shows the baby Ernest taking a well-deserved nap while donning a cute white-and-blue cap. The second shows the couple’s son August getting familiar with the newcomer in the family.
“Augie is loving being a big brother already,” Princess Eugenie added.
Princess Eugenie is the daughter of the younger daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York. She is currently 11th in line of succession for the British throne.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, a successful bar manager, married in 2018. They welcomed August on 9 February 2021, with the boy being born by cesarean section as natural birth would be complicated due to the scoliosis operation Princess had in her childhood. August’s full name is August Philip Hawke Brooksbank in honor of his great-grandfather Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, and five-time great-grandfathers Edward Hawke Brooksbank and Prince Albert.
