Actor Mark Wahlberg’s famous morning routine isn’t the same as it used to be. In a recent chat with Today, Wahlberg revealed that his kids made him tweak his morning schedule a bit.
Back in 2018, Wahlberg gave his Instagram followers an insight into how he starts his day, and it is safe to say that it isn’t for everyone. At the time, the Transformers star revealed he wakes up at 02:30 am and manages to fit in praying time, two meals, a workout, a golf session, cryo chamber recovery, and several snacks before 11:00 am.
Since then, Wahlberg has allowed himself some more sleep (an hour extra) while also taking on the task of waking up his kids for school. And as all parents, he needs quite a bit of time to complete it.
“I’ve been going like, 3:30 wake-up, 4 o’clock in the gym, kind of finish that, get my reading and my prayer time done, and then start the process of waking them up, which usually ends up taking — I’m up and down the stairs at least three times to get the teenagers up, and I get them off to school, and then I usually start the rest of my day,” Wahlberg shared.
Wahlberg and his wife, Rhea Durham, have four children. The oldest one, 20-year-old Ella, is currently attending college. 13-year-old Grace, 17-year-old Michael, and 15-year-old Brendan are in high school.
