Make Your Toddler a Delicious and Healthy Smoothie With This Ultimate Recipe

Smoothies are a great way to introduce nutritional food into your toddler’s diet. They will provide them with protein, vitamins, minerals, and fibers, among others, while also allowing parents to “sneak” in some healthy food that the toddler might not like on their own.

Not all smoothie recipes will work if you want to make a smoothie for your toddler. Some might pack too much sugar, while others can have too complex flavors for their liking. This is why it’s best to start off simple with an “ultimate recipe” that does the job while allowing for customization options.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup fruit
  • 1/2 cup veggies
  • 1 banana

Instructions

1. Pour the milk into a blender and add the banana.

2. Add ½ cup of fruit you want to use. This can be anything from frozen or fresh berries to mango, peach, or apples.

3. Add the ½ cup veggies. You can use greens like kale and spinach or something like cauliflower and carrots. Or you can mix it up.

4. Optionally, you can also throw in some chia seeds, nuts, or peanut butter.

5. Blend until you get a creamy texture, and serve it to your toddler in a cup or a pouch.
