Lana Del Rey isn’t set on becoming a mom just yet. However, the “Summertime Sadness” can be seen it happening one day.
Del Rey recently had a chat with The Sunday Times and opened up about her views on motherhood. She said that she believes she has more things to explore before becoming a mom.
“That’s why God didn’t give me children yet,” Del Rey shared. “Because there is more to explore. I know people who’ve tested every water. It’s burnt them, like Icarus.”
However, that doesn’t mean Del Rey isn’t open to having a kid down the road.
“But I’m willing to go there. I see it coming for me. We’ll see,” she added. “We’ll see what melts the wings.”
Lana Del Rey currently has a lot on her hands. She released her most recent album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, back in March. The release was met with positive reviews from critics while debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 charts. Del Rey then embarked on a world tour in support of the album, which is set to resume in 2024 with shows in several European cities.
