Kylie Jenner Opens Up About Battling Postpartum Depression After Two Pregnancies

There’s still a lot of stigma surrounding postpartum depression and hearing that you’re not going through it alone can make things easier. Many celebrities spoke about their struggle to navigate their postpartum recovery, and Kylie Jenner is the latest to open up about her experience.

Jenner recently set down with Vanity Fair Italy for an in-depth interview and motherhood was one of many topics she discussed with the magazine. The beauty mogul admitted that she experienced postpartum depression (PPD) twice and shared a piece of advice with other women who are dealing with the same problem.

“I know, in those moments you think that it will never pass, that your body will never be the same as before, that you will never be the same. That’s not true: the hormones, the emotions at that stage are much, much more powerful and bigger than you,” said Jenner.

This isn’t the first time Jenner opened up about her postpartum experience. Back in March last year, Jenner told her followers that it’s “ok not to be ok” after giving birth and that we have to “stop putting pressure on ourselves to be back, not even physically just mentally.”

Jenner welcomed two children with the rapper Travis Scott: a five-year-old daughter Stormi and a one-year-old son Aire.
