Kristin Davis Has No Regrets About Having Kids Later in Life

There’s no such thing as the perfect moment to become a mother, and every woman waits until it feels like the right time. In Kristin Davis’ case, the right time came during her 40s and 50s, but she has no regrets about becoming a mom later in life.

Davis recently did an interview with Today with Hoda & Jenna to discuss the new season of her HBO show And Just Like That… One of the things that came up was her approach to motherhood. The 58-year-old actress revealed that she doesn’t have any regrets about becoming a mom on her own terms.

“For me, there was no other way that it could have happened. People sometimes say, ‘Oh, do you regret this, or regret that?’ No, I don’t have any regrets because I love my kids, and I don’t think I was ready (before). I wasn’t there in my head or my heart yet,” she explained.

The S-x and the City actress is a mother of two children—a daughter, Gemma Rose, whom she adopted in 2011, and a son Wilson, whom she adopted in 2018. Davis was also very open about her struggles to find a work-life balance while filming And Just Like That… and she flew home every weekend to spend time with her kids.
