Kelly Rowland Reveals How She Scored “A Couple of Cool Points” With Her Son Titan

All parents want their kids to think they are cool, and celebrities are no different. However, celebrity parents have it a lot easier to achieve this, whether it’s for the line of work they are in or the people they know.

Singer and former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland recently shared a story with Entertainment Tonight about how having famous friends helped her score “a couple of cool points” with her eight-year-old son Titan.

According to Rowland, she took Titian to the basketball game that featured her friend and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. During a break, Rowland and James greeted each other, and she used the opportunity to introduce Titan to him, something that the boy absolutely loved.

“I was like, ‘Look at my baby.’ And he was like, ‘What’s up, little man?’ My son literally goes, ‘Mom, you know LeBron James?’ He thought it was the coolest thing. So, yeah, I have a couple of cool points with my baby right now,” Rowland, who promoted her new movie Mea Culpa, shared.

Rowland shares Titian with her husband, Tim Weatherspoon. The couple welcomed their second child, son Noah Jon, in 2021.
