Karlie Kloss revealed she’s pregnant with her second child at this year’s Met Gala, and her baby no. 2 is finally here. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel took to social media to share the first photo of her Joshua Kushner’s newborn son Elijah Jude.
Kloss shared the happy news with a black-and-white photo that shows her firstborn son Levi Joseph holding Elijah’s hand. She captioned the photo by revealing the baby’s name and date of birth – July 11. Many fellow models were quick to congratulate Kloss, including Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, and Irina Shayk, among others.
Kloss put her growing baby bump on full display while attending the Met Gala back in May. This event felt like a fitting time to share the happy news with the world because it’s fashion’s biggest night, and Kloss was surprised she managed to keep the secret for so long.
Kloss and Kushner have been married since 2018, and she admitted her priorities significantly changed after she gave birth to their first child in 2021.
“I just had this moment of like, ‘Wow, every woman who has a child, every parent goes through this.’ Priorities change. Everything changes. I think the last few years have changed us as well. I have become, first of all, so much more efficient with my time,” she said during an appearance on The Today Show.
