IKEA is one of the world’s leading furniture companies, and their children’s collection is a gift that keeps on giving. The Swedish brand welcomed fall with a new line called Skogsduva, featuring a wide range of interactive and educational pieces that will take your little ones into the heart of the forest.
The Skogsduva collection will offer 20 educational, inspirational, and practical products, created in an attempt to enrich children’s imagination and improve their playtime. From duvet covers and cushions to plush toys, all the products in this line are inspired by Swedish wildlife and feature animal, insect, and plant motifs.
Maria Törn, the range area manager of Children’s IKEA, described this new line as their attempt to help families add some playfulness into everyday life.
“With Skogsduva we wish to inspire families to bridge the gap between wants and musts in those routines by incorporating play and storytelling. Here, a pillow is also a log, a bathrobe can turn you into a lynx, and the duvet cover can inspire the bedtime story, making bedtime something to look forward to,” said Törn in a press release.
Skogsduva is coming to all IKEA markets in October, in addition to being available on the brand’s official website.
