“Home Alone” Star Macaulay Culkin Talks Celebrating Christmas with His Family

Macaulay Culkin rose to prominence while playing Kevin McCallister in Home Alone, but the days when he used to spend Christmas on his own are long behind him. He recently opened up about celebrating holidays with his fiancée Brenda Song and two sons and said they like to “go all out” when Christmas is here.

Culkin and Song share two sons together, who are still at that age when Christmas feels like the most magical thing in the world. He told E! News that they enjoy going “all out at Christmas in [their] house”, as a way of fueling the holiday spirit for their little ones.

“Because right now, they’re at the magic age where they believe, and we want to nurture that belief. I told them that I’m at Santa’s workshop fixing toys, because that’s what I do for them at home. I’m so good that Santa Claus called me up to the North Pole. They’re totally fine with that,” said Culkin.

The couple’s kids are already huge fans of Culkin’s 90s classic Home Alone, especially their three-year-old son Dakota. Culkin recently revealed that his eldest son is convinced that he’s Kevin McCallister and has a habit of mixing up his own childhood memories with the actions of the iconic character played by his dad.
