Get Your Kids to Help You Make This Healthy Dessert

Do your kids always ask “What’s for dessert?” as soon as they’ve finished their meal? Why not get them involved in the process by asking them to help you make this simple, healthy dessert? They will enjoy creating something from scratch, and you won’t find yourself bombarded with questions about the sweet course before you’ve even finished your main.

Ingredients (to serve 4):

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon of almond butter
  • 4 tablespoons of Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 5 cookies, crumbled

Instructions:

  1. Slice each banana in half lengthways. Drizzle with the maple syrup, and then bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 370 degrees F.
  2. Meanwhile, thoroughly mix the almond butter with the Greek yogurt.
  3. Once the bananas are cooked, layer them with the yogurt and crumbled cookies to create some delicious dessert!
