Gal Gadot became a household name while playing Wonder Woman, and we’ll soon see her embody another iconic character. She’s set to play the Evil Queen in Disney’s live-action remake of Snow White, and her kids had a thing or two to say after she was cast in this role.
Gadot will star alongside Rachel Zegler in Snow White next spring, and she opened up about the experience of working on this project in an interview with People. She filmed her scenes last spring and revealed her daughters had a pretty hilarious reaction after learning which character she’s playing in this project.
“My middle child was a bit disappointed that I wasn’t Snow White. When I told them I’m going to shoot Snow White for [a] month, she was convinced that I’m going to play Snow White. But when I told her ‘No, it’s the evil queen,’ my oldest said, ‘Oh, how appropriate,’” said Gadot.
Gadot has been married to Israeli real estate developer Jaron “Yaron” Varsano since 2008. They’ve worked on several business endeavors by each other’s side, including the production company Pilot Wave, which launched in 2019. The couple has three daughters together: Alma, 11, Maya 6, and Daniella, 2.
