Dwayne Johnson Reflects on Hearing His Daughters’ Voices in “Moana 2”

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently attended the premiere of Moana 2, and this event was quite a family affair. Johnson’s daughters provided voices in this animated film, and he said they were “on the edge of their seats” waiting to hear themselves on the big screen.

After years in the making, Moana 2 finally had its long-awaited world premiere in Oahu, Hawaii, and Johnson brought his entire family along. In addition to hitting the red carpet, his daughters Jasmine and Tiana were also a part of the film’s voice cast, after making cameos as members of Moana’s fan club.

Johnson voices the demigod Maui in the film alongside Auliʻi Cravalho as Moana, and it was quite an experience to watch it with his daughters.

“They loved it. Loved, loved it. They hadn’t seen it before. They knew they were in it, and they were sitting on the edge of their seats, literally, and just waiting. Their scene came up, and they’re just like, ‘That’s me! It was so cool,” Johnson told E! News.

Johnson married his long-time girlfriend Lauren Hashian in 2019, and they share two daughters together—Jasmine, 8, and Tiana, 6. He also has a 23-year-old daughter Simone, the WWE wrestler who goes by the ring name Ava, from his previous marriage with Dany Garcia.
