Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are one of Hollywood’s ultimate power couples, and their family just welcomed another new member. They officially became a party of five after Teigen gave birth to their rainbow baby on January 13.
Legend confirmed the happy news during a private concert this weekend, telling the crown that they welcomed “the little baby this morning.” The singer said that he “didn’t get a lot of sleep” after spending a lot of time at the hospital, but added that he feels energized after becoming a dad again.
The arrival of the couple’s new child comes two years after Teigen suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage with their son Jack. She announced her new pregnancy on social media in August, after undergoing IVF, and admitted she felt nervous to share the news with the world.
“The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again… Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘Ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still,” wrote Teigen at the time.
Teigen and Legend got married in 2013 after several years of dating and they’re also the proud parents of daughter Luna, born in 2016, and son Miles, born in 2018.
