The family of Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and his wife Emily Wilkinson is growing. The couple shared with their social media followers earlier this week that they are expecting their first child together.
Mayfield and Wilkinson shared several adorable photos that showed them posing on the beach. Mayfield embraced his wife while Wilkinson proudly showcased her ultrasound photos. Their dog, Fregus, also joined the photoshoot while sporting a bandana with a “Big Brother Fergus” inscription.
The couple also revealed the gender of their first child, saying they are expecting a baby girl.
“We’ve been hiding a little something…… But we are THRILLED to share that baby girl Mayfield will be joining our crazy crew in early April 2024!” the couple wrote in the caption.
Mayfield and Wilkinson’s celebrity friends rushed to offer their congratulations in the comments section.
“Yayyyy!!! Congrats guys!!!” Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, wrote.
“Ayyyeee!! Congrats you guys!” Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce added.
Baker Mayfield and Emily Wilkinson met in 2017 through a mutual friend. The couple got engaged six months after that and got married in the summer of 2019. Mayfield and Wilkinson are known for their charitable efforts, running the Baker and Emily Mayfield Foundation, which offers “programs, scholarships, and philanthropic opportunities” to those in need.
