Amanda Seyfried has been in many beloved movies over the years, and her daughter is slowly catching up with her amazing filmography. She recently discovered that her mom once starred in Mamma Mia! and Seyfried says she’s now “obsessed” with this musical.
Seyfried has been married to Thomas Sadoski since 2017, and they share two children together – daughter Nina and son Thomas. The seven-year-old Nina is slowly becoming aware of the fact that her mom is a movie star, and she’s starting to discover some of her movies.
Nina can’t get enough of Mamma Mia! and its sequel Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, and she’s been watching them on the loop since her grandmother introduced her to these films.
“My mom showed my daughter, and my daughter is now obsessed, and so she’s 7, so she’s in second grade, and all her friends are obsessed. So now they’re starting to recognize me as Sophie, which is a little weird, but how beautiful. I don’t think she quite understands it, but she loves it,” Seyfried told People.
She also added that it feels “trippy” to listen to songs from Mamma Mia! with her daughter, but she’s constantly asking her to play the soundtrack, with “Lay All Your Love On Me” emerging as her favorite song.
