Al Pacino is a proud father of four children—and one of them is just a year old. The Oscar-winning actor recently opened up about becoming a father again in his 80s, and said it feels the same as it did before because it’s “just so wonderful to have children.”
The Godfather and Scarface star lovingly discussed fatherhood in his new memoir Sonny Boy, and shared some more details about being a father at 84 in a recent interview with People. He described fatherhood as “a mini miracle” and said that it always feels the same, no matter what age.
“It’s just so wonderful to have children. For me, I loved it,. It changed me for, if you want to say, the better. It changed me for life. And the idea that you’re throwing your focus on other humans who happen to be your children … there’s the love,” he told People.
Pacino is a proud father of four children, and his first-born Julie was born out of his relationship with acting coach Jan Tarrant in 1989. He also welcomed 23-year-old twins Anton and Olivia while dating the actress Beverly D’Angelo. Pacino shares his youngest son, the 16-month-old Roman, with his producer girlfriend Noor Alfallah.
