Go With Whole Grains
The main issue with breakfast cereals is that they often happen to be highly processed, but there are exceptions to this rule. Opt for whole grains cereal because they tend to be better than other variations that lost most of their healthy nutrients during the production process.
High in Fiber
Your kids should have a lot of fiber in their diet, but cereals that are high in fiber aren’t that easy to find. You should look for one that packs at least four grams of fiber per serving or consider topping your kids’ cereal with fresh fruits if you fail to find one.
Low on Sugar
