Halloween is just around the corner, and what better way to get into the spooky spirit than with some fun, kid-friendly crafts? These three easy projects will keep your little ghouls and goblins entertained while adding some homemade charm to your Halloween decor. Let’s get started!

Toilet Paper Roll Monsters

Materials: Empty toilet paper rolls, paint, googly eyes, colored paper, glue, scissors

Instructions: Paint the toilet paper rolls in various colors. Once dry, cut out teeth, arms, and hair from colored paper and glue them onto the rolls. Add googly eyes to complete your monsters. These make great decorations or can be used to hold small treats.

Handprint Spiders

Materials: Black construction paper, white paint, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, scissors, glue

Instructions: Have your child dip their hand in white paint and press it onto black paper, fingers spread apart. Once dry, cut out the handprint. Glue on googly eyes and attach four pipe cleaner pieces on each side as legs.

Pumpkin Suncatchers

Materials: Clear contact paper, tissue paper in orange and black, scissors, black marker

Instructions: Cut two pumpkin shapes from contact paper. Remove the backing from one piece and stick orange tissue paper pieces all over it. Cut out triangles from black tissue paper for eyes and a mouth. Once complete, cover with the second contact paper piece. Trim excess and hang in a window for a festive glow.
