If you’re concerned about your kid’s diet, a great way to sneak more fruit into them is through dessert. Whip up one of these simple dishes, and they’ll be so excited to get dessert they won’t even notice it’s healthy.
Grated Apple and Chocolate Pots
Ingredients (to serve 4):
- 3 apples
- 1/2 cup of dark chocolate
- 1 cup of yogurt
Instructions:
- Grate the apples.
- Break the chocolate into small pieces
- Mix the apple and chocolate into the yogurt, decant into pots or bowls and serve.
Banana and Peach Delight
Ingredients (to serve 4):
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 tin of peaches in juice
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 10 sponge fingers
Instructions:
- Pour some of the peach juice over the sponge fingers.
- Layer over sliced bananas and peaches, and then drizzle over the maple syrup.
- Serve immediately.
Raspberry and White Chocolate Surprise
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of raspberries
- 1/2 cup of white chocolate
- 1 cup of cream
- 10 shortbread biscuits
Instructions:
- Crumble the biscuits into pieces.
- Melt the white chocolate and stir into the cream.
- Sprinkle the raspberries over the biscuit pieces and then drizzle over the white chocolate cream.
