3 Classic Kids’ Films Which Have Aged Well

You may want to show your kid some classic animations and films, but some older movies have lost their charms due to changing tastes or old-fashioned humor. Luckily, there’s a whole host of classic kids’ films that are still just as special and moving today as when they were first released. Here are three of the best.

Beauty and the Beast (1991)

This beautifully animated version of the classic fairy tale is full of magic, charm, and wonder. Whilst younger children may find the first scenes of the Beast a little frightening, children aged eight and above should really enjoy the great storyline and music in this Disney classic.

Peter Pan (1953)

This likely film remains really popular with kids, and with its focus on the joys of being young, it’s not hard to see why. There’s plenty of peril, but the happy ending makes this a great family film, and one to watch again and again.

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

A great option for slighter older kids, this film has plenty of creepy thrills, but ends with a heartwarming message about the true message of Christmas. With excellent animation and some quality voice acting, it’s a film that the adults can enjoy as much as the kids.
