It’s a wonderful time of year, but with the dark nights and time off from work and school, it can be easy to get a bit of cabin fever as a family. It’s good to have some things to do as a family over the Christmas break. Here are three activities that the whole family can enjoy this Christmas break.
Set Up a Blanket Fort and Watch Films
Watching films is a great way to spend time together over Christmas, and it’s even better if you temporarily transform your living room into a fortress of coziness! Putting as many blankets and pillows in your living room in front of the telly and watching some good films with some tea and snacks is the perfect way to spend a winter’s afternoon!
Outdoor Adventure
If you want to get some fresh air and exercise, going outside as a family and exploring a nearby woodland or walk is a great way to do it! You can burn off some of the energy you get from sitting indoors, and have a great time as a family. It will also make you appreciate the warmth and coziness of your house more!
Arts and Crafts
If you want something a bit more involved, why not get the craft materials out and create something together? You could do some drawing, or a mosaic, or a paper mache model, but whatever it is you can have loads of fun by taking on different roles and putting on some festive tunes!
