You may not have been the most healthy individual growing up, but having a child forces you to reevaluate everything you were doing up until that point. Now that you need to raise a human being, you start to rethink your life choices, and nutrition is involved in that equation. So if you’re unsure where to start, here are two super basic practices to improve your child’s nutrition health.
Water Culture
It’s probably a good idea to instill within your child a love for water even while they’re a child. Kids nowadays grow up in a society that promotes all things sugar, and thus they love all the sugary drinks, and so it’ll be your job to get them excited about healthy drinks such as water. If you can do this effectively, they’ll be much better off for it in the long run.
Same Goes For Veggies
The same positive culture you want to instill in your child in regards to water should be implemented when it comes to vegetables as well. Newsflash—kids have no reason to hate veggies. We’re the ones who teach them that it’s a “chore” to eat them. So it’ll be your job to make it a normal part of everyday eating.
