Kids usually don’t have a habit of cleaning up after themselves. Even if you tell them to do so, the chances are that they will ignore it or do a lousy job. However, content creator Amber Henry had a completely different and surprising experience with her 3-year-old daughter.

 Henry recently shared a video on her TikTok in which she told the story about what happened when she told her toddler to clean up her “area” before sleep. It made her on the verge of tears and super proud.

Apparently, Henry’s daughter not only complied with her mom’s request but also aced the assignment. In the clip, which went viral and received 1.6 million views, Henry showcased how the little girl lined up their boots, hung up her purse, and picked up aprons that were lying on the floor. She even cleaned the flower petals by picking them up from the credenza and putting them in the flower vase.

“My heart is in so much pain because how did I create the sweetest child on the face of the planet,” Henry says at the end.

There are some things that parents do by instinct. For example, they are aware that babies love being rocked and tend to do it all the time. But sometimes, this can have hilarious consequences, as a recent viral video shared on TikTok shows.

In a clip shared by @weareregularmums, a dad is seen sitting in some sort of a classroom and paying attention to the lecture. At the same time, he is rocking a baby stroller beside him. However, there is just one problem: the stroller is empty.

As it turns out, the dad forgot all about handing over the baby to the mother, who is in the back and filming the whole thing, just five minutes before.

“POV: You are a dad and you know if you stop moving the baby will wake up,” it says in the text displayed in the video.

@weareregularmums

I talk a lot about mommas on here but these dads deserve some credit 😆 I’m so grateful my babies have such a good dad whose instincts never fail him. ❤ 😘 #heunderstoodtheassignment #dadlife #dadsrule #sundaybest #sunday #church #boonties

The clip, which received more than two million views, left internet users in stitches. It also prompted other parents to share similar situations.

“I would instinctively pat my partners back when we would hug because I was so used to comforting and burping my kids,” one TikTok user wrote.

“as a single father, I can attest to this. it becomes a habit even if the baby is being held by a friend or family member. I’ve caught myself bouncing or rocking stuffed animals or a bag of flour,” another added.

Usually, it is the moms who go with their daughters to shop for a prom dress. However, one dad recently decided to take on this parenting role, and it went down as you might expect: with a lot of jokes and unsuccessful attempts to save some money.

In a funny video recently shared on TikTok, content creator Aaron Ennis can be seen accompanying his daughter while she looks for a perfect prom dress. Ennis explains that he wants to make sure his daughter gets something “with some class.“

Ennis then goes on to recommend a number of dresses, including one in the style of legendary singer Tina Turner, but none of them are to his daughter’s liking.

Once his daughter finds the dress she likes, Ennis is taken aback by its price of $300.

“If I get this dress, you’re wearing this dress for the prom, Easter, going to get gas. Everywhere! If you have a job interview, you’re wearing this dress, “Ennis tells his daughter before asking her when she plans to get a job.

@wereennistogether

She wearing this dress more than once for that much money. She better find a 2nd prom to go to 😂😂😂 #parents #parentsbelike #dadlife #comedy #relatable

The video ended up going viral and amusing millions of social media users. Other parents praised Ennis for accompanying his daughter while also warning him that this was just the beginning of his troubles.

“Lmaooo we need more dads like this,” one TikToker wrote in the comments section.

“Just wait until you have to go wedding dress shopping with her….that $300 is 10x more ….poor daddy, you might not survive that purchase,” another added.

Most parents tend to keep their arguments away from their children, wanting to protect them. But one couple is taking a different approach, saying that they “fight” in front of their kids and believe this will end up being beneficial for them.

TikTok user Nika Diwa recently uploaded a video on social media titled: “Why we fight in front of our kids.” In the clip, Diwa and her husband are having a respectful argument with their kid present throughout the discussion.

“It’s important for kids to learn how to navigate HEALTHY conflict,” the TikToker writes in the video.

According to Diwa, she and her husband let their kids “watch mom and dad disagree respectfully and work towards unity and resolution.” According to her, being there helps “set them up for healthy conflict resolution as they grow up.”

It turned out that a lot of internet users agreed with this unconventional approach.

“Man I wish my parents did this. Shows healthy communication and respect even if not agreeing,” one user wrote.

However, there were also those who believed that kids should never witness arguments between their parents.

“Do not fight in front of your kids. Yes! they are meant to think things are perfect, they are meant to only see love and adoration for each other,” another user commented.

It is important to note that many experts believe that arguing in front of your kids can be beneficial for them. However, that can only be the case if the argument remains respectful, doesn’t include raising voices, and ends up in a peaceful way.
