3 Tiffin Recipes to Make With Kids

Tiffin is a rich and indulgent sweet treat, popular with kids and adults alike. The best thing about tiffin is, it is a no-bake dessert, so it’s perfect for teaching kids some simple methods and how to measure ingredients. Check out these three recipes, all of which are perfect to make at home with your kids.

Simple Chocolate Tiffin

Ingredients (to make 12):

  • 1 cup of dark chocolate
  • 8 biscuits
  • 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup of unsalted butter

Instructions:

  1. Heat the butter in a pan. As it melts, add the dark and milk chocolate and stir the mix well.
  2. Once the butter and chocolate have melted completely, break up the biscuits and add them to the pan. Mix well, ensuring that all of the biscuit pieces are coated in the chocolate mix.
  3. Remove from the heat and pour into a tray lined with greaseproof paper. Place in the fridge and leave to set (this will take around 2 hours).
  4. Once the tiffin is set, you can slice it into squares. It will keep in the fridge for one week.

Ingredients (to make 12):

  • 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup of raisins (or similar dried fruit)
  • 1/4 cup of chopped mixed nuts

Instructions:
