]]>According to People, the baby’s birth certificate lists his place and time of birth as Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles at 7:41 a.m. on August 1. The baby boy is named Riot Rose Mayers, and it keeps up with the family tradition of first names all beginning with the letter R.
Rihanna’s full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, while A$AP Rocky’s legal name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers. The couple’s first child together, son RZA Athelaston, was born in May last year and they named him after the late Wu-Tang co-founder.
Rihanna teased her second pregnancy during her headlining Super Bowl performance before confirming it in a cover story with the British Vogue. She later admitted her second pregnancy was very different from the first, but it had its bright sides.
“It’s so different from the first one. No cravings. Tons of nausea. Everything’s different, but I’m enjoying it. I feel good. I feel energetic,” Rihanna told Entertainment Tonight at the Met Gala in May.

Rihanna’s performance quickly sparked pregnancy rumors and it didn’t take long for the singer’s representative to confirm she was expecting her second child with the rapper A$AP Rocky. They’re proud parents of the nine-year-old boy and they’re yet to share his name with the public.
Headlining the Super Bowl halftime show is an achievement of its own, but the fact that Rihanna did it pregnant made it extra special. She was just three months postpartum when she was asked to headline the show, and saying yes wasn’t easy, but motherhood ultimately inspired her to hit the Super Bowl stage.
“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world – you can do anything. There’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. It’s important for my son to see that,” she told Apple Music.
